Providing care and support for the internally displaced person from Chibok-Borno, Adamawa , Nasarawa affected by the insurgency has been a priority to me and amazing team at the moment apart from our maternal and new born health programs. Insurgency has killed thousands in the North East and those left behind has decided to run for there lives settling in middle of bushes, mountains and major tick forest locations and I wonder how they were coping to survive before we found them . It is one of those dedicated selfless sacrifices that i have decided to make with support of my team. We are currently providing free health care, Education, food , psychological and welfare support to all internally displaced persons we have located in their various camps. We want to do more, the kids are getting cold at night and has no much food to eat.(see previous blogs for details) [caption id="attachment_2584" align="aligncenter" width="2592"] our medical team providing medical care[/caption][caption id="attachment_2579" align="aligncenter" width="2592"] One of the Doctors dressing the babys wound[/caption] The pain of getting to them is something i found joyful of doing, sometimes we have to park our vehicle miles away and trek through bushes as to get to them.
